Candidate Statement

As an academic citizen and alum of UNC Chapel Hill, I am interested in engaging and contributing to university service and excited at the opportunity to give back to the university that gave so much to me during my time as a student. My expertise in curriculum and assessment position me to contribute meaningfully to Faculty Council while representing nontenured faculty, health professions education, and the School of Pharmacy. Further, this opportunity will allow me to identify synergistic opportunities to align initiatives within the university community. I value collaborative teams, authentic and relational leadership, diversity and inclusivity, and effective communication. These values, my prior service engagements, and leadership experience have prepared me to be an effective member of the Faculty Council.
