Faculty Council Minutes and Resolutions; Committee Reports

Our digitized Faculty Council minutes from 2006-07 to the present, as well as all Faculty Council resolutions from 1997-present may be found by accessing the past Faculty Council meeting materials.  We are gradually adding all Faculty Council materials going back to approximately 1997.

Meanwhile, many prior years’ committee reports and materials may now be found under the Committees page.

We continue to add materials to both of these areas all the time.  If you do not find what you need there, see below for how to access our old Faculty Governance site.

Records Management and University Archives

Paper copies of archival materials from the Office of Faculty Governance are sent on a regular basis to University Archives, a division of the Manuscripts Department, located in Wilson Library. On May 22, 2012, the University Records Retention and Disposition Schedule superseded our departmental records disposition schedule created in 2008. The University’s schedule was updated in 2016.

It is the responsibility of every standing committee of the faculty to deposit its historically significant records with University Archives on a regular basis.  See Section 1.12 Committee, Council, and Task Force Records (p. 7 of 189) for specific instructions.

Here is the finding aid for Faculty Governance records already sent to University Archives.

Electronic Archival Materials:  Old Faculty Governance Website
