Since joining the faculty, I have been active in my service to my department, the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the University. I currently serve on the following committees and boards:

Candidate Statement
As a former student-athlete and captain of the NCAA Division I women's lacrosse team at Yale, I experienced the challenges of managing coursework while juggling practice, competitions, travel, and other athletic commitments. I also encountered faculty who were less than supportive of my athletic endeavors. I am running to advocate for scholar-athletes and to facilitate their combined athletic and academic success. I hope to ensure that scholar-athletes feel equally supported in pursuing excellence both on the field (court, pool, gym) and in the classroom.
