UNC Service
I currently serve on the Buildings and Grounds Committee, and have enjoyed working on projects that will enhance the physical space of the university. While I have not been on many committees at UNC, prior to my time here I worked on several committees at prior universities that included undergraduate curriculum and library services.
Candidate Statement
I want to improve and enrich the teaching and research space for faculty, especially nontenured faculty, and I will work towards safeguarding the university from political interference. I have several years experience working on committees in other universities as both a faculty member and as a graduate student, addressing library facilities and resources, admissions, and undergraduate curriculum.
