Candidate Statement
I am a long-time faculty member with abundant experience serving on a wide variety of University committees and I will bring that experience to the Faculty Grievance Committee. I have previously served as a member and chair of the Faculty Hearings Committee and am well acquainted with the rules and procedures pertaining to the grievance process for faculty. The current roster of the Faculty Grievance Committee has no faculty from the natural or physical sciences and my presence on the committee would fill an important gap in expertise when addressing grievances from faculty in these science departments.
