I have served on several University committees including the Educational Policy Committee, Chancellor's Teaching Award Committee (member and Chair), Faculty Hearings Committee (member and Chair), Summer Reading Selection Committee (Chair), and Faculty Council.
Candidate Statement
I am a firm believer in the necessity of a strong Faculty Council. The natural sciences and mathematics occupy a distinct niche within the College of Arts and Sciences and my goal as a Council member is to make sure that the interests of our disciplines are well represented within the University. I have been a faculty member for 33 years, with a long record of University service, and I believe I am well positioned to be a strong advocate for our Division.
