UNC Service

I have held numerous service roles during my 25 years at UNC. Most recently, I served as co-director of the community engagement core of the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute. In 2019, I served on the Community Engagement and Civic Impact subcommittee of the Data Science Initiative at UNC. I have served on review committees of centers and a graduate program on campus.

Candidate Statement

I have been a division chair for 10 years at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy and have experience working with budget cuts. I currently serve on the School of Pharmacy's budget committee. I am also an adjunct professor in the Gillings School of Public Health. I was a participant in the Academic Leadership Program a few years ago and realized I would like to be more involved with faculty governance. I would enjoy serving on this committee and helping make budget decisions that optimize what is best for departments, students, and the university.
