Candidate Statement
I am running for a nontenured seat on UNC-Chapel Hill's Faculty Council to represent Kenan-Flagler and its multiple stakeholders while furthering UNC's mission to "serve as a center for research, scholarship, and creativity and to teach a diverse community of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to become the next generation of leaders."
As a former UNC student (MA '10, PhD '16) and current Kenan-Flagler clinical assistant professor, I enjoy building and nourishing Kenan-Flagler's connections to our broader UNC community. I temporarily serve as one of Kenan-Flagler's nontenured representatives to Faculty Council, where I contribute to thought diversity, critical thinking, and transparent communication.
