The Honorary Degrees and Special Awards Committee plays an essential role in selecting who to showcase as best exemplifying the university's excellence. By honoring individuals associated with UNC, we remind everyone of the extraordinary impact that the university has on the state, the nation, and the world. I would be honored to serve on this committee and contribute to this important task.
