I currently co-chair the Faculty Grievance Committee and serve on a number of committees within the University Library and outside professional organizations. I am a current member and past chair of the Library's Appointment & Promotion committee and hold elected positions in the American Library Association (ALA).

Candidate Statement

I've had the pleasure of serving on the Faculty Grievance committee since 2017, as co-chair for the latter two years. My familiarity with the grievance process and the committee's work gives me the tools to respond to issues and inquiries as they arise. In my current professional role, I oversee the department responsible for the acquisition and management of library materials. This work involves negotiating with providers to license their resources as well as managing staff, and requires complex communication, discretion, and attentiveness to detail. Both my professional skills and my direct committee experience would inform my participation with the Grievance Committee should I be elected to a second term.
