I have served on several committees within the Department of Exercise and Sport Science committed to recognizing student achievement (Hyatt Scholarship Committee and Scholar Athlete Award Committee), engaging with global scholars in our field (Blyth Lecture Planning Committee), and more recently strategizing the transition of our department's curriculum to online delivery (EXSS Online Learning Task Force). Additionally, I serve on the Human Movement Science PhD Program Admissions Committee working with colleagues in the School of Medicine and Department of Allied Health Sciences.

Candidate Statement

Carolina's libraries provide a resource fundamental to every facet of Carolina's mission. These range from curating research on the global stage, developing students into future scholars, as well as providing both physical and virtual resources necessary to sustain the high demands expected from our world class students, clinicians, and scholars. I would be honored to serve on the Administrative Board of the Library to provide an important perspective representing research and teaching in the Natural Sciences. I hope to working with peers and thought leaders across campus to provide students and faculty with broader access to key information sources and to engage the Carolina community to use the library and its resources to its fullest potential.
