Candidate Statement
I have been a faculty member in Exercise and Sport Science, studying traumatic brain injury at UNC-CH, since 2014 and have served on the Administrative Board of the Library since 2022. Since that time, the depth, breadth, and value of our Libraries only continues to grow and expand alongside the needs of our campus. With increasing demands for information, data science, access to timely research, and access to historical documents, the importance of our Libraries to campus and community infrastructure has never been more important. I hope to continue my service, advocacy, and education concerning our Libraries through serving on the Administrative Board of the Library to grow its reach and to engage more students and faculty with the incredible Library resources and staff available on our campus.
