Candidate Statement

I'm running for re-election to the Advisory Committee, having served one year as first alternate after a former member stepped down.
• My leadership background, my 30 years of teaching and my psychotherapy practice experience (currently within the SOM physician support program), deeply inform my understanding of the challenges faced by students and colleagues
• As a classroom educator, I know the demands and rewards of teaching.
• Often referred to as "a voice of reason", I bring multifaceted analysis, tactful candor, and group facilitation skills to contentious discussions.
• I am well prepared to continue to thoughtfully advise on university-wide issues and would be honored to extend my service on the Advisory Committee.
