I currently serve on the Advisory Committee and the Advisory Committee on Undergraduate Admissions. I am Chair of the ROMS Technology and Innovation Committee and an Honor System Faculty Liaisons. I was a member of the Faculty Executive Committee (2014-2017), Faculty Council (2006-2009, 2014-2017 EO) and the Student Fee Advisory Subcommittee (2018-2020). Previously, I served on Administrative Review Boards and its Course subcommittee for six years. In addition to departmental committees, I served on University Hearings Boards and Appeal Review Boards for the Honor System, and Chaired the Faculty Honor System Advisory Committee for several years.

Candidate Statement

The last few years have brought many unexpected challenges, and it is important that we continue to consider what we have learned and what changes need to be made, in order to bring forth change and new opportunities to our campus. As such, it is important for Faculty governance bodies to continue their discussions on faculty morale and welfare, campus safety, inclusion, equity, new innovations such as AI, as well as strategies to best support and serve our undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff.

If re-elected to the Advisory Committee, I will continue to collaborate and listen to my colleagues across the disciplines, to ask questions about issues or proposed solutions, and bring forth faculty concerns.
