UNC Service

I was fortunate to join the UNC School of Medicine faculty in 2020. I have a varied clinical practice that is a combination of congenital cardiac catheterization as well as inpatient and outpatient service for both pediatric cardiology and adult congenital cardiology. I have the opportunity to teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows in each of the different clinical settings. I currently serve as the medical director of the Pediatric Catheterization Laboratory and was recently a member of the Pediatric CT Surgery recruitment committee.

Candidate Statement

As someone who routinely collaborates clinically across multiple School of Medicine departments, I believe I am well positioned to serve as a representative for my fellow non-tenure faculty colleagues. I am proud to be a UNC faculty member and am eager to continue to find ways to contribute. It would be an honor to serve as a member of the faculty council and, if elected, I would be committed to advocating for what is in the best interest of the students and faculty members of UNC.
