Since 2005, my service to UNC spans from UNC Health, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a focus on workforce capacity building and care of older adults with cancer and their care partners.
Candidate Statement
Currently, I am on the Faculty Hearings Committee and was appointed to the committee in 2022. I was not elected last year when I put my name forward, but was appointed Fall 2022 as an alternate committee member. I am interested in being elected to the committee because I want to continue to support a confidential, impartial, and thoughtful process for faculty at UNC. I bring authenticity and equanimity to the committee. It is my hope to be elected to the Faculty Hearings Committee for continuation and strengthening of the committee's scope.
