UNC Service

My current service to UNC is as an active member of the Commission on Cancer Committee (CoC). The CoC is dedicated to raising standards and improving outcomes for patients with cancer. My past service to UNC includes: Director of Breast Imaging Division and Fellowship Program (2005-20022), Associate Vice-Chair of Operations & Safety Department of Radiology (2022), Vice-Chair & Medical Director of Chatham Radiology (2022-23), Lineberger Cancer Center grant reviewer, and a member of both the Associate Professor Appointment, Promotion & Tenure Committee and the Post-Tenure Review Committee.

Candidate Statement

I would appreciate the opportunity to represent you by serving on this Committee. I believe in the protection of a faculty member against involuntary suspension, demotion, discharge, or termination from employment. I have been on staff at UNC for 25 years and have witness may changes across our campus. My experiences at both UNC and on national committees (American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging, Radiological Society of North America) have provided me with the insight and tools on how people can successfully work together to achieve system-wide goals.
