As an applied education policy researcher, I regularly represent the university in presenting research results to policymakers at school district, state, and federal levels.

Candidate Statement

I would like to use my professional knowledge as a researcher in education policy to inform the work of the Education Policy Committee, particularly as it relates to ensuring equity for first generation college students and community college transfer students. In addition, I am an undergraduate alumna of UNC-CH and will use that experience to understand how decisions of the committee impact students.
