I have served on multiple committees and tasks forces within the Department of Anestheiology and the School of Medicine. I have also served on a universlty search committee and currently serve on two university task forces. I have been significantly involved in the preparations for the SOM's LCME accreditation in 2012 and 2020 and the accreditation of the PA program within the Department of Health Sciences in the SOM.
Candidate Statement
Throughout my career I have been significantly involved with APT policies and practices. In 2011-12 I authored the medical school's APT guidelines and in 2020 I co-led the SOM task force to revise the APT guidelines introducing meet the mark criteria. As part of the process I presented/co-presented regarding the revised SOM APT guidelines to over 50 units within the SOM. I believe my experience with APT along with my knowledge and expertise will be helpful to the committee and to the university.
