I served on several committees for UNC Chapel Hill, such as the Research Misconduct Investigation Committee, and for the UNC School of Medicine, such as the SOM Strategic Planning Committee, the Medical Education LCME committee, the Five-Year Review of Centers, several Conflict of Interest Evaluation committees and the Review Appointments and Promotions to Full Professor.

Candidate Statement

I am now in my 20th year at UNC-Chapel Hill, and I would be honored to serve the university and faculty in this position. I direct a core within UNC, a research group, and the Lineberger program in Virology and Global Oncology. Each of these required day-to-day attention to financial data and performance.
