Candidate Statement
At the School of Government, I serve as the lead faculty for our Courts Division and as Director of the North Carolina Judicial College. In these roles, I frequently consider faculty responsibilities and their interplay with budgetary requirements and constraints. I believe that experience is good preparation for a pan-University committee charged with seeking advice about how program changes and other responses to a financial exigency could impact faculty employment.
