Candidate Statement

I humbly accepted the invitation to run for the at-large position on the General Education Oversight committee because it aligns with my skills and interest in creating and maintaining dynamic learning experiences for undergraduate students. I will bring a unique perspective to the committee with my previous role as an academic advisor and my current position as an inaugural program director for an undergraduate program. In both roles, I have been a part of curriculum development, assessment, and delivery alongside faculty, staff, and students. My deep commitment to prioritizing students and their learning is directly tied to the committee's charge to ensure we are delivering on the promise of our general education curriculum. As a committee member, I would be honored to work alongside colleagues to ensure continuous improvement.
