I am excited to run for a position on the Faculty Athletics Committee. I am a Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience and my expertise is in the treatment of addiction and mood disorders. Since arriving at UNC in 2013 I have served on the Faculty Research Committee and the Faculty Council.
Candidate Statement
UNC uniquely exemplifies excellence in both athletics and academics and I am passionate about supporting the continued success of both. Having mentored and taught many of our student-athletes, I have observed the challenges they face and am dedicated to ensuring they receive the support needed to navigate the student-athlete experience.
