Candidate Statement

I am enthusiastic to play a collaborative role in our transition to the IDEAs-in-Action curriculum. I have been involved in this transition already, offering support and leadership within my department and working on faculty review committees for incoming proposals from other departments as well. In my other administrative positions (liaison for Undergraduate Research, active member of our Program Assessment committee, and active in our technology committees, including recent recipient of a Lenovo grant), I am very committed to seeing the Arts and Humanities adapt their curricula to meet the integrative, inquiry, and high-impact goals of IDEAs. I am excited to see the recent initiatives of faculty in our divisions and am eager to seek out and support opportunities for greater collaboration among the departments that constitute them.
