Candidate Statement
Serving as a substitute on the Faculty Council last year made me realize how important the Faculty Council is in representing faculty's interest. A diverse and strong council is a critical force to ensure the university can confront unwarranted pressure from outside and stand up for our value and integrity. I run for the Faculty Council to represent tenured faculty in Social Sciences.
