Candidate Statement
I would welcome the opportunity to serve on Faculty Council because I strongly believe in the University's mission to enhance access to learning and knowledge-based services, not only for affiliates but for all citizens of North Carolina. This is central to the work we do at the Libraries and to my role as Head of Interlibrary Services, which supports research, teaching, learning, and public service by actively participating in resource sharing. I would approach my service on Faculty Council with this same commitment to collaboration.
