Driven by my passion for medical education, I serve as the director overseeing student rotations within the Urology department throughout the Application and Individualization Phase. Additionally, I serve as the Medical Director for our Hillsborough Urology clinic. I have served on the Fixed Term Promotions Committee for 3 years and was appointed co-chair for 2023-2024. In 2022, I took on the role of the Director of the Learning Environment for Undergraduate Medical Education where I oversee the management of all concerns related to medical student mistreatment. Lastly, I serve as the chair of the Medical Student Professionalism Committee.

Candidate Statement

I would be honored to serve as a nontenured representative on the UNC Faculty Council. With experience in leadership roles within both clinical and educational domains, I've had the privilege of witnessing the triumphs and challenges faced by our current and aspiring physicians. Additionally, serving on the Fixed Term Promotions Committee has been a special privilege allowing me to see the incredible talent, dedication, and perseverance of our fixed term faculty. It is my hope to continue advocating for our nontenured faculty so that their voices continue to be heard.
