UNC Service

I am currently the Co-Chair of the School of Social Work’s Personnel, Promotion & Tenure Committee, and have serviced on the School’s Doctoral Program Committee for the past 7 years. I have also served previously on a number of committees at the School of Social Work, including the Online MSW Program Task Force and Faculty Governance Committee. My service to the University includes membership on the Institutional Review Board and acting as a Strategic Objective Lead for the University’s strategic Initiative “Promote Democracy”.

Candidate Statement

I have dedicated my career to improving the health and well-being of people with mental illnesses. Through this work I have seen how equitable and inclusive policies positively impact the health and well-being of individuals, organizations, and communities. Shared governance is critical to creating and sustaining equitable and inclusive policies for students, faculty, and staff at this University. I would be honored to serve as a member of the Faculty Council and appreciate your consideration.
