I have served on the Faculty Information Technology Advisory Committee for about 2 years.
Within the Department of Applied Physical Sciences, I have been involved in the talent search committee in recruiting and attracting young, talented researchers to the department.
I have been involved in inviting and hosting distinguished speakers in the field of applied science and engineering for visits and seminars at UNC.

Candidate Statement

Multidisciplinary collaborations to address real-world challenges root the vision of our research program. The opportunity to build interdisciplinary connections, forge interdepartmental collaborations, and cultivate nurturing, caring, and inclusive cultures at the faculty council motivates me to serve our UNC community.
