The January meeting of the Faculty Council will be a joint meeting with the Employee Forum on Friday, January 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. Faculty Chair Mimi Chapman and Employee Forum Chair Shayna Hill decided to hold another joint meeting so that faculty and staff representatives could hear information about plans for spring together.
Per the online agenda, the Faculty Council will conduct some business for the first 30 minutes, then the joint meeting will begin in earnest at 3:30. Topics to be covered include information about the budget and vaccine rollout as well as general spring semester plans. A brief presentation about the Carolina COVID-19 Student Services Corps is also on the agenda.
The meeting will be held over Zoom and streamed live at this link. Anyone watching the livestream will be able to submit questions and comments via Poll Everywhere.
