We were saddened to learn of the passing of past Chair of the Faculty Pete Andrews. Professor Emeritus Richard “Pete” Andrews from the Department of Public Policy served as faculty chair from 1997 to 2000. In retirement, he was always willing to provide advice and insights to faculty chairs who succeeded him. Continuing his service to the University, Prof. Andrews was active in the Retired Faculty and Professional Association, At the time of his death he was serving as Past-President of the RFPA, and we were glad to collaborate and communicate with him in that role and in general. He was a delightful colleague and community member. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
