A meeting of the Faculty Council and the General Faculty of UNC Chapel Hill is being held Friday, March 8, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Genome Sciences Building, G200. The meeting agenda is available online.
In addition to remarks by the chair of the faculty, interim chancellor and provost, the main agenda items are
- Committee on University Government Annual Report with three resolutions to amend the Faculty Code of University Government.
- Panel discussion on the proposal for the IDEAS in Action General Education Curriculum. The curriculum will not be voted on this month.
- Committee on the Status of Women Annual Report and presentation of a report on faculty salary equity at UNC.
Faculty Council members are encouraged to arrive early for refreshments and socializing. Please sign in, locate your name tag and take a seat in one of the designated rows toward the front of the room. All attendees must be recognized by the chair to speak and should wait to be handed a microphone before speaking.
