Dear Colleagues,
In light of the email received from the Chancellor this morning regarding the release of the Wainstein report, the Faculty Athletics Committee (FAC) will reschedule our open forum originally set for Tuesday afternoon, October 21st. The report will be released Wednesday midday, and the Chancellor is holding a town hall meeting from 5-6 p.m. in G200 of the Genome Sciences Building on Wednesday.
It is prudent to hold FAC’s’ open forum at a later date to allow everyone to digest the report and perhaps have more information available to frame our conversations, questions, and suggestions so the FAC can utilize the report findings to confirm or make changes to our plan of work for 2014 – 2015.
We look forward to engaging with our faculty colleagues as soon as we can find an appropriate date and space for the next open forum.
