Gardner Award: Call for nominations
August 1, 2022 - September 15, 2022
The Office of Faculty Governance, on behalf of the Committee on Honorary Degrees and Special Awards, is now accepting nominations for the NC System-wide 2023 Oliver Max Gardner Award. The award goes to “that member of the faculty of the Consolidated University of North Carolina, who, during the current scholastic year, has made the greatest contribution to the welfare of the human race.”
The Committee on Honorary Degrees and Special Awards will select one nominee from UNC-Chapel Hill to forward to the Board of Governors awards committee.
