Candidate Statement
Having served as an alternate Faculty Assembly delegate and Acting Chair of the History Department in 2019-2020, I have gained a insight into and appreciation for both the mechanics and importance of faculty governance and university administration. I bring 11 years of faculty teaching and experience several leadership positions, both on the departmental and College levels. If elected, I believe I would bring an informed and balanced perspective to critical questions of faculty governance, as well as the broad perspective to represent the interests of UNC-Chapel Hill at the system level.
