I am currently serving on the Administrative Board of the Library, the Faculty Welfare Committee, and the Faculty Grievance Committee, in addition to several committees in the Department of Romance Studies.
Candidate Statement
Serving on the Administrative Board of the Library for the past three years has reinforced my conviction that the University Libraries are one of our most important and distinctive resources. In my own teaching, research, and undergraduate and graduate mentoring, I rely constantly on their expansive collections, knowledgeable staff, and cutting-edge tools. As our libraries face unprecedented challenges stemming from changes in the landscape of academic publishing, it would be my privilege to continue to serve on this committee and support the vital work they do on campus and beyond.
