I have served as an interim chair of two departments (1 year each time) and I have been the Director (now Co-Director) of the UNC Center For AIDS Research since 1998.
Candidate Statement
To be useful to the institution, if needed. Hopefully my many years on campus as a faculty member and a center director will allow me to approach problems with some understanding of the complexity of the institution.
