Candidate Statement
I hope to be able to serve the University and to find ways to timely honor fellow faculty members for their important work and contributions to the University and the community. I would like to contribute to a nomination process that is robust and inclusive and seeks nominations from all departments and units of the University. I intend to approach the review of nominations with diligence and a keen eye to the criteria applicable to each honorary degree and special award.
