Candidate Statement
The next several years will test UNC in new and important ways. We face substantial budget challenges, a return to in-person learning, and are implementing a new curriculum. As a leader in the political science department I have experience advocating for academic freedom, faculty excellence, as well as for how our graduate programs play an integral role in fostering a diverse and stimulating academic environment.
