Candidate Statement
• My leadership positions, (Educational Policy Committee, Chair of the Faculty (SON), Provost's Committee on LGBTQ Life) and my psychotherapy practice (within the SOM physician support program), have positioned me well to advocate for both students and colleagues in the broader university arena.
• As a classroom educator for 25 years, I know the challenges and rewards of teaching.
• Often referred to as "a voice of reason", I bring multifaceted analysis, tactful candor, and group facilitation skills to contentious discussions.
• I am well prepared to thoughtfully advise on university-wide issues and would be honored to bring my skill and experience to the Advisory Committee.
