I am Chair of the Faculty Honor Advisor Committee and an Honor System Faculty Liaisons for my department. I have been serving on Administrative Review Boards and its Course subcommittee for the past five years. I was a member of the Faculty Executive Committee, Faculty Council and the faculty representative on the Student Fee Advisory Subcommittee. Previously, I served on the General Education Council, the Academic Regulations Subcommittee (Academic Plan working group), and the Carolina Family Scholarship Committee.

Candidate Statement

The pandemic that we are living in has brought many unexpected challenges, and it is important that we continue to consider how we can make the best of what we’ve learned this year in order to bring forth new opportunities to our campus. As such, Faculty governance bodies will need to continue their discussions on inclusion, equity, multi-diversity, faculty morale, as well as innovative strategies to best support and serve our students and colleagues, especially during these stressful times. I believe that our Strategic Plan, the IDEAs Curriculum, and the budget will also be at the core of our discussions, as we look to the future growth of the university.
