UNC Service

I have served as a member of the University Teaching Awards committee for the past two years. In addition, past service to UNC includes serving on the advisory team for development of Carolina’s Strategic Plan, the Provost’s Task Force on Promotion and Tenure, Committee on Assessment of Student Learning, the Advisory Committee for the UNC Center for Faculty Excellence, and the UNC Interdisciplinary Certificate in Aging. In addition, I have served and continue to serve in multiple capacities within the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

Candidate Statement

I have served as both fixed-term faculty (1998-2002) and tenure track faculty (2002-present) and will bring a breadth and depth of experience to the Advisory Committee. Through my faculty role, I have collaborated and worked closely with colleagues in many schools across campus. My career has been shaped by these collaborations and the experiences I have had in teaching, research, and service within the Eshleman School of Pharmacy and across the University. In my administrative role, I am responsible for supporting our Division Chairs and all faculty matters throughout the School, including recruitment and retention, faculty governance, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and professional development. I am honored to be running for a position on the Advisory Committee. I will actively engage and be a voice committed to upholding Carolina's mission and its values.
