Candidate Statement
I have been a librarian at Carolina for 20 years and have a steady record of service to the University Libraries and to Carolina broadly. I am head of the Digital Research Services department in the University Libraries, which is a research support unit focused on services related to data and digital scholarship. I have provided consistent service to the Libraries and have contributed to many projects and initiatives over the years. I have been a member of the Administrative Board of the Library (ABL) since 2019. During this time, I have served to the best of my ability to provide a staff perspective and advocate for my colleagues in the University Libraries. I am seeking reappointment to the ABL so I can continue this work for a second term.
