Candidate Statement
While I have only been a member of the UNC community for six years, I have been committed to contributing to the improvement in patient care, trainee education and diversity. I am seeking nomination for the Faculty Council to continue these goals on a larger scale, with a mission to help ensure a continued focus on diversity, equity and inclusion across the University. My prior training outside of UNC and personal background as a member of the LGBTQI community will permit me to bring a unique background to the issues presented to the faculty council.
