UNC Service

Have served as Associate Dean for the Fulltime MBA , Associate Dean for the MBA@UNC, and Senior Associate Dean for MBA programs. The programs enrolled 1900 students in Spring 2018. We achieved record-high GMAT scores (Fulltime MBA) and enrollments. Please see my resume for details.
Other service has included: Doctoral Program Coordinator for Marketing; Tenure-track Faculty Advisory Committee; Kenan-Flagler Lifelong Learning Committee; Faculty Ambassador for Campaign for Carolina. Awarded the Roy W. Holsten Award for Outstanding Service to Kenan-Flagler. Currently Marketing Curriculum Chair and Member, Stipends & Teaching Release Committee.

Candidate Statement

I wish to provide a balanced and reliable voice to represent the interests of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School faculty. Given our location on Skipper Bowles Drive, we have struggled at times to connect deeply and well with UNC at large. This challenge is exacerbated by the nature of our being a professional school. I believe that leaves a gap that needs to be filled. Second, our faculty can benefit from learning about a range of opportunities, processes and procedures, academic connections, and areas of better alignment that are possible with UNC as a whole. Likewise, I would like to share what we have learned at UNC Kenan-Flagler with the UNC faculty at large. My participation in 2015-2016 UNC Academic Leadership Program (ALP) will help with these goals.
