University Steering Committee for Worker Health, Safety and Wellness Seeks More Faculty Focus Group Participants
Ben Birken, Staff Coordinator for the University Steering Committee for Worker Health, Safety and Wellness spoke at the December Faculty Council meeting about the Committee’s work.
The Steering Committee seeks more faculty participants for several employee focus groups to be held in January and February as part of the Committee’s larger assessment of health promotion needs, assets, interests and expectations on campus. Each focus group will last approximately 90 minutes, and meals will be provided. Only nine faculty members have responded thus far; more faculty input is needed to assure that the assessment results are meaningful and comprehensive.
All full-time employees are eligible to see if they qualify. Interested faculty members are invited to contact Ben Birken, Steering Committee Coordinator, at email@example.com or 966-6085.
For more information on any of these items, please contact Anne Whisnant in the Office of Faculty Governance.
