CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: O. Max Gardner Award

The Office of Faculty Governance, on behalf of the Honorary Degrees and Special Awards Committee, is now accepting nominations for the UNC System-wide 2025 Oliver Max Gardner Award. The award goes to “that member of the faculty of the Consolidated University of North Carolina, who, during the current scholastic year, has made the greatest contribution to the welfare of the human race.”
The awards committee will select one nominee from UNC-Chapel Hill to forward to the Board of Governors’ awards committee.
