The annual faculty elections will be held April 14th-21st, 2014. Electronic ballots will be sent by email to all members of the Voting Faculty.  We have two versions of the Voter Guide to help you plan your voting:

Abbreviated Voter Guide as printed in the University Gazette (with names, titles and terminal degrees)

Full Voter Guide (with names, photographs, titles, terminal degrees and candidate statements)

1. Faculty-Wide Positions (All faculty vote for these)

  • Chair of the Faculty
  • Chancellor’s Advisory Committee
  • Committee on Appointments, Promotions, and Tenure
  • Educational Policy Committee
  • Faculty Assembly Delegation
  • Faculty Athletics Committee
  • Faculty Executive Committee
  • Faculty Grievance Committee
  • Faculty Hearings Committee
  • Financial Exigency and Program Change Committee
  • Honorary Degrees and Special Awards Committee

2. Apportioned Positions (Only voters with primary appointments in the appropriate division vote for candidates representing that division)

  • Division 1. Fine Arts Division of the College of Arts and Sciences: Tenured Faculty Council, Non-Tenured Faculty Council, Administrative Board of the Library
  • Division 2. Humanities Division of the College of Arts of Sciences: Administrative Board of the Library
  • Division 3. Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division of the College of Arts and Sciences: Tenured Faculty Council, Non-Tenured Faculty Council, Administrative Board of the Library
  • Division 4: Social Sciences Division of the College of Arts and Sciences: Administrative Board of the Library
  • Division 5. University Libraries: Faculty Council
  • Division 6. The School of Information and Library Science: At-Large Faculty Council
  • Division 9. School of Journalism and Mass Communication: Non-Tenured Faculty Council
  • Division 10. School of Law: Tenured Faculty Council
