Committee on Collegiate Sports at UNC
Charge
Faculty Council Resolution 2015-6. On a Campus Discussion regarding the Academic Implications of the Changes Coming to College Sports authorizes the Faculty Athletics Committee to appoint a group to launch a campus-wide discussion “on the implications of the changes coming to college sport.”
To that end, the Future of Sport Committee started meeting in February 2016 to organize a series of events related to varsity athletics topics nationally and their impact on athletics at the University. This committee is no longer active.
