Chair of the Faculty Mimi Chapman has called a Faculty Town Hall for Monday, April 10 from 4-5:30 p.m.

It will be held in Kerr Hall Room 2001 (Eshelman School of Pharmacy) with a remote option. Faculty are encouraged to attend in-person, if possible. Attendance via Zoom is for faculty only; register at this link.

In her message to the faculty, Chair Chapman wrote that she is holding “a Faculty Town Hall to continue a discussion that began at the March 24 Faculty Council meeting. Attendees at the meeting expressed serious concerns about several weighty matters, including the new “compelled speech” policy adopted by the Board of Governors on Feb. 23; the legislative request for DEIA information from administrators across the UNC System; and the proposed School of Civic Life and Leadership.”
